Brightening Futures Through the Arts

Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts Teacher Training Program at Manjul Pre-School, Rajkot, India

Three years ago Manjul Preschool approached the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning to enrich its curriculum and provide the best education possible to its students. Manjul was founded to provide free education for low-income families and break the cycle of poverty in some of the poorest sections of society.

Wolf Trap artists visit to train the Manjul teachers and work with the students. Teaching through the performing arts enables active, engaging, interactive learning. It extends to science, math, reading, and language and prepares these young students to continue their education in top-notch schools.

The video below shows a glimpse into this remarkable program and the benefits it brings to these beautiful children. The Gupta Family Foundation is proud to be a supporting partner of this important program.

Learn more about the origins of the partnership in our post from its first year here.
